Autism Spectrum in Adulthood

Assessment highlights strengths—pattern recognition, deep focus—while identifying supports for communication, planning, or sensory regulation.

Why adults seek evaluation

Many autistic adults were misdiagnosed or overlooked in childhood, especially women and people of color. They may mask traits in professional settings and experience burnout, anxiety, or misunderstanding. A strengths-based evaluation validates their experience and pinpoints supports.

Assessment focus

We explore social cognition, language pragmatics, executive functioning, sensory processing, and co-occurring ADHD or mood disorders. Feedback emphasizes self-advocacy tools, workplace accommodations, and individualized communication strategies.

Support and resources

Recommendations may include autistic-affirming therapy, occupational therapy for sensory modulation, peer support groups, and workplace coaching. We also provide documentation for accommodations (quiet workspace, flexible scheduling, written instructions) that allow autistic adults to thrive on their terms.
